Dear Brother Knights and Families:
2022!!!! The beginning of a new year always holds such hope and promise!! I am sure that like myself, all of you are just wanting the next 12 months to be filled with health and happiness!!
Covid 19 has changed our definition of ‘normal’ and many people still have day to day struggles with this. Please be sure to reach out to our elderly, neighbors, family and friends who might be experiencing these feelings and show them you care.
Once again, Brother Tom Hoffman has taken our Candy Cane Sunday proceeds to a new record!! $582 was raised by Tom and the fellow Knights who assisted him. Many thanks to the volunteers!! AWESOME job!!
One Rose One Life
The importance of this event cannot be underestimated. The lives of many unborn depend upon the statewide success of this fundraiser! 100% of the monies go to support Culture of Life organizations and events throughout Nebraska. Please mark your calendar for January 22nd and 23rd and consider volunteering. We hope to have a Knights of Columbus representative at each of the church doorways for every mass.
Membership Drive time!!! February 5th and 6th is our Knights of Columbus membership drive and I am asking all my brother Knights to assist with this important week-end. As your Grand Knight, I am committed to grow our council numbers. We are the largest men’s religious organization in the world and our influence on our church family and community is tremendous.
Please consider giving your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors the opportunity to be a part of this special group. There are several leadership openings that need to be filled, with one being the Deputy Grand Knight. If you are interested in a leadership position within the Knights of Columbus or know of a great candidate, please reach out to me.
In closing, please continue to pray for our priests, teachers and those who influence our children. Pray for our country and the leaders of our local, state and federal governments.
